David Aguilar III

David Aguilar III, specializes in a range of creative disciplines including traditional, digital, and commercial art. Born and raised in Arizona, David’s art is heavily influenced by the natural landscapes, desert sunsets, queer and LatinX artists.

His portfolio ranges from pencil work, oil pastels, watercolor, and acrylic. Every piece, an amalgamation of intricate details, explosive colors, and emotional storytelling.

His most recent project focuses on embodying human emotions ranging from merriment to dread. Spirits that drift through our lives everyday are manifested by the emotional energy we radiate. We all must decide whether to succumb to them or allow them to flow through us.

These emotional monsters are brought to life through mixed media and projection mapping, integrating animation with traditional art.
